    Comparatives and superlatives (So sánh hơn và so sánh nhất)
    a. Comparative adjectives (So sánh hơn của tính từ)
    • Hình thức so sánh hơn của tính từ một âm tiết (tính từ ngắn)
      • Form: (be) + short adjective - ER + than
      • Ex: Laura is taller than I am./Your house is bigger than mine.
    • Hình thức so sánh hơn của các tính từ có hai âm tiết trở lên (tính từ dài)
      • Form: (be) + more + long adjective + than
      • Ex: She is more wonderful than her sister./ I still think this film is more exciting.
    b. Superlative adjectives (So sánh nhất của tính từ)
    • Hình thức so sánh nhất của các tính từ có một âm tiết (tính từ ngắn)
      • Form: (be) + the + short adjective - EST
      • Ex: Who is the tallest in your family?/ My mom is always the kindest woman I have ever known.
    • Hình thức so sánh nhất của các tính từ có hai âm tiết trở lên (tính từ dài)
      • Form: (be) + the most + long adjective
      • Ex: Is this book the most interesting?/ Tom is always the most intelligent friend I have.
    c. Notes (Lưu ý)
    • Đối với một số tính từ ngắn ta phải gấp đôi mẫu tự cuối trước khi thêm -ER hoặc -EST
      • big - bigger - biggest
      • wet - wetter - wettest
      • hot - hotter - hottest
    • Các tính từ có hai âm tiết thường có hình thức so sánh hơn là "more + adjective + than". Tuy nhiên khi tính từ có hai âm tiết tận cùng "-y" (happy, easy, funny) thì hình thức so sánh hơn là "adjective - ER + than" và hình thức so sánh nhất là "the + adjective - EST"
      • funny - funnier - the funniest
      • easy - easier - the easiest
      • happy - happier - the happiest
    • Một số tính từ tận cùng "-ble", "-ow", "-er" cũng có dạng so sánh hơn là -ER và so sánh nhất là -EST
      • simple - simpler - the simplest
      • narrow - narrower - the narrowest
      • clever - cleverer - the cleverer
    • Hình thức so sánh hơn và so sánh nhất của một số tính từ bất quy tắc
      • good - better - the best
      • bad - worse - the worst
      • far - farther/further - the farthest/the furthest
      • many (much) - more - the most
      • little - less - the least

    Look carefully at each line. Some of the lines are correct, and some have a word which should not be there. Put a tick (V) for each correct line.
